I've no idea why I decided to make that the blog title, but it seemed like a good idea. The other option was 'Vanilla Fudge' which would have made a lot more sense seeing as I had fudge today. And it wasn't just any fudge. It was Thornton's fudge. Yup. Your jealous. I knew it.
The barbecue was cancelled. It's a shame. I was looking forward to a night out. And I was looking forward to seeing him of course. Oh well. I'll see him Sunday. Hopefully.
School today. Started off well. Went downhill. Came a little back up again. Kinda. Sort of. They are doing it again. Gale and Louise. The whole exclusion thing. I spent a whole hour in a lesson with the two of them. And they spoke to each other. Like 'Did you do the homework?' 'How did you do this question?' 'Can I see yours?' I was sitting right next to them. And they didn't speak to me. Not once. Gale and that guy she likes. I think something might be happening there. Of course, I haven't been told. Cause I am for some reason unbeknown to me, not included. What? Anyway. We all went into town to get some food. A load of us, not just me, Gale and Louise. I cheered up a bit. I have no idea why. Then I bought some fudge. Then I went home.
I watched this film today. One of those really cheesy Hallmark films set in the mountains in America. It was called 'Love comes softly'. It wasn't a christian film, but there was a bit where the man said, 'If I'm walking with Missy (his daughter) and she falls over, that doesn't mean I wasn't watching her or taking care of her, but she knows that when she does fall, I will pick her up and take care of her, try and make her feel better.' That's like God with us. It's the perfect way to explain God, to unbelieving people. Hurt exists in the world. That isn't God's fault. However in His word, he says that if we accept him into our lives, he will be there to pick us up every time something goes wrong. That's why we can always rely on him, always rejoice in him. Encouraging.
I need to buy some new specs. (Bet you didn''t think I wore them)
What do you think I look like?
